Job SummaryAs an Experienced Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to assist in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring that patients receive accurate and timely medication.You will be responsible for using pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities* Assist licensed pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including retrieving patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and providing patient education. * Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.* Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets, verifying medication accuracy, and checking for potential interactions. * Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow, including answering phone calls and responding to customer inquiries. * Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company policies and procedures. * Develop strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.* Participate in ongoing education and training programs to maintain knowledge and skills in pharmacy practice and patient care. * Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions and patient information.
