Job SummaryAs aRemote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to health plan members, providers, and their representatives. Responsibilities* Provide exceptional customer service to health plan members, providers, and their representatives, responding to inbound inquiries and resolving issues in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner. * Work with customers to identify specific questions or issues, providing clear and concise information and assistance while documenting relevant details in computer systems.* Communicate and partner with customers tactfully and empathetically to resolve issues, using clear language to translate healthcare-related jargon and complex processes into simple, step-by-step instructions. * Handle and process customer complaints/grievances, applying conflict management skills to de-escalate potentially stressful situations. * Meet performance goals established for the position in the areas of efficiency, accuracy, quality, member satisfaction, and attendance. * Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in customer service, healthcare, and technology.* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, sharing best practices and expertise to drive excellence in customer service. Skills and Qualifications* 1+ year of experience in a customer service or call center environment, with a strong focus on healthcare or a related field. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Strong empathy and active listening skills, with the ability to understand and address customer concerns and issues.* Proficiency in bolthires Office and other technology platforms, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and tools. * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. * Ability to work in a remote environment, with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
