As a Customs Trade Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing impeccable customer service, ensuring the accurate preparation of import-related documentation, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. This is a full-time remote position that offers a competitive salary of $20-30 per hour, with a standard 8-hour workday. The ideal candidate will be based in New York, USA, and will have a strong background in data entry, import documentation, and customer service.Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Accurately prepare and process import-related documentation, including customs forms, invoices, and other relevant documents Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations, laws, and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements Collaborate with internal staff, departments, and external partners to deliver high-quality service to clients Process organization financier shipments and handle remote filings as needed Ensure all service and organizational policies are followed, and procedures are adhered to Maintain accurate and current records, in compliance with all record-keeping requirements Essential Qualifications High school certificate or GED required No industry experience required, but a minimum of 6 months of work experience is preferred Data entry/console experience required, with proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment (phone, fax, scanner, printer, copier) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong organizational and interpersonal abilities Problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle high volumes of work and time-sensitive tasks Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and to cooperate with clients, carriers, brokers, government agencies, internal staff, and management of all levels Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as logistics, transportation, or international trade Previous experience in customs brokerage, import/export operations, or a related field Knowledge of customs regulations, laws, and procedures, including PGA's (participating government agencies) Experience with remote data entry, import documentation, and customer service Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.As a Customs Trade Coordinator, you will have access to paid training programs, designed to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
