Job Overview This is a remote call center role, working full-time from Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm EST. As a Customer Support Specialist for Medical Records Processing and CPC Processor, you will be comfortable working in a high-volume production environment, processing medical record requests, and providing exceptional customer support to patients, insurance companies, and attorneys. You will be documenting information in multiple platforms using two computer monitors and must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Key Responsibilities Process medical record requests by taking calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys to provide medical record status updates. Document information in multiple platforms using two computer monitors. Provide exceptional customer support, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and resolving issues efficiently. Work effectively in a high-volume production environment, meeting productivity and quality standards. Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and improve processes. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of experience in customer support, preferably in a healthcare or medical records environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment, meeting productivity and quality standards. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration or medical records. 2-3 years of experience in customer support, preferably in a healthcare or medical records environment. Certification in medical records or a related field, such as CPC (Certified Professional Coder). Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software applications. Skills and Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment, meeting productivity and quality standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and ability to learn other software applications. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume production environment.
