Job Overview This is a full-time remote role (call center) that operates from Monday to Friday, 8AM-4:30 PM EST. As a Customer Support Specialist for Medical Record Processing, you will be comfortable working in a high-volume production environment and will be responsible for processing medical record requests by taking calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys to provide medical record status. You will also document information in multiple platforms using two computer monitors. Key Responsibilities: Process medical record requests via phone calls from various stakeholders, including patients, insurance companies, and attorneys. Provide timely and accurate medical record status updates to clients. Document information in multiple platforms using dual computer monitors, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency. Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel, to manage and analyze data. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will possess the following essential qualifications and skills: Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred. 1-2 years of experience in customer service, call center, or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical records or healthcare industry. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and guidelines. Previous experience with electronic medical records systems. Bilingual or multilingual skills. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $15 to $18.32 USD, depending on location, responsibilities, skills, experience, and other requirements of the role.
