Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Specialist to in a remote call center role. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for processing medical record requests, taking calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys, and providing medical record status updates. You will be working in a high-volume production environment and will be required to document information in multiple platforms using two computer monitors. Key Responsibilities: Process medical record requests by taking calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys to provide medical record status updates Document information in multiple platforms using two computer monitors Work comfortably in a high-volume production environment Provide exceptional customer service to patients, insurance companies, and attorneys Utilize Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel) to perform job duties Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center environment Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel) Comfortable working in a high-volume production environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Preferred qualifications include: Experience working in a medical records or healthcare environment Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations Previous experience working with multiple computer monitors and software platforms Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, insurance companies, and attorneys Customer service skills: Ability to provide exceptional customer service, with a focus on resolving issues and providing solutions Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel), with the ability to learn new software platforms and technologies Time management skills: Ability to work in a high-volume production environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Teamwork skills: Ability to work collaboratively with team members, with a focus on achieving common goals and objectives Career Growth and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our team members with opportunities for career growth and learning.
