Key Responsibilities As a Customer Care Representative on our 2nd shift (remote) team, you will be responsible for: * Monitoring and tracking all active shipments to ensure on-time delivery and accurate status updates (typically 1pm to 10pm WFH after training) * Booking/Posting next day freight and any recoveries needed * Ensuring to keep up with Customer distro communications * Serving as the main point of contact for carriers, drivers, and customers during after-hours operations * Proactively identifying and resolving any issues or delays in transit, escalating as needed * Updating internal systems with accurate, real-time shipment details and status changes for our customers * Communicating professionally with customers to provide timely updates and solutions * Collaborating with the day operations team to ensure a seamless transition and accurate handoff of information * Maintaining accurate records of all communication, updates, and issue resolutions * Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer requirements Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: * Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or freight brokerage is a plus, but we will train you regardless * Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail * Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities * Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in a demanding environment * Requires perfect attendance due to great dependence on this role * Ability to learn industry-specific software * Able to work after-hours and adapt to changing priorities What We Offer As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy: * Firsthand experience in logistics operations and supply chain management * 401(k) with immediate company match upon eligibility * Dental, Health, and Vision insurance * Paid time off Work Environment and Company Culture At blithequark, we value a positive and supportive work environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and growth.
