About the Position We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager/Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at blithequark. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of job production from start to finish and be capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.A positive attitude, strong communication skills, self-motivation, trustworthiness, dependability, and adaptability are essential qualities for success in this role. As a Production Manager/Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of printing projects, managing customer relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our company. Key Responsibilities Engineer and manage a wide variety of jobs/projects from start to finish, including interpreting customer requirements, developing and managing timelines throughout the production process, and ensuring quality throughout the process.Effectively manage communications with sales representatives, customers, outside services, and internal departments to ensure seamless collaboration and timely project completion. Responsible for ensuring job specifications are clearly communicated to all departments, interpreting customer purchase orders/instructions accurately, and providing clear, detailed instructions to the manufacturing team. Demonstrate a basic understanding of all printing departments, including: Digital Department Prepress Press Room Bindery Shipping Mailing Manage jobs to estimated costs and ensure each is handled in the most bolthires-efficient manner, optimizing resources and minimizing waste.May include other duties as assigned by management, requiring flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications: Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, sales representatives, and internal departments.Strong customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Strong multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at one time. Ability to manage schedules, meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and manage costs, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and productivity. Ability to work as a team member and have a positive attitude, with a willingness to collaborate with others and contribute to a positive work environment.Familiarity with MIS systems such as iQuote/ePS and Monarch, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies. Proficiency in bolthires Outlook and Excel, with the ability to use these tools to manage communications, track projects, and analyze data. Must understand how to create layouts, with Metrix software knowledge being a plus. Knowledge of press parameters, ink coverage, and press layouts and folding signatures, with the ability to apply this knowledge to optimize printing processes.Strong mailing and variable data experience, with knowledge of postal rules and regulations, and the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure compliance and efficiency. Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial print and direct mail lettershop, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
