Key Responsibilities Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's offices, and/or private insurance carriers, providing empathetic and informative support to resolve billing inquiries and concerns. Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of financial obligations. Utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, maintaining a high level of performance and productivity. Develop proficiency with our processes and systems through a structured training program, ensuring seamless integration into our team. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1+ year work experience required, with a strong preference for previous experience in medical billing, customer service, insurance claims, EOB, call center, or fast-paced environments. Previous interaction and communication with patients regarding medical information is highly desirable. Technical requirements include a reliable internet connection with a minimum download speed of 50 megabytes per second, a dedicated workspace with minimal distractions, and the ability to connect equipment to a router/modem with an Ethernet cord. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment.
