Job Overview As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing predictive models and unified insights on engagement across blithequark's TV portfolio. This is an exciting remote opportunity with an immediate start, offering a competitive compensation package of $25/hour. You will be part of the blithequark Entertainment (DE) Research, Insights, and Experiences - Data Management and Operations team, supporting viewership forecasting to enhance Advertising Sales revenue. Key Responsibilities * Interpret raw data from multiple sources into meaningful and valuable insights for data-driven decision making, with digital pipelines handling ETL. * Design and develop new predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques to estimate and project a user's engagement with the blithequark platforms across multiple KPIs. * Build visualizations and interfaces to communicate results to business stakeholders in an easily digestible, maintainable, and automated way. * Partner closely with business stakeholders to identify and pursue opportunities, and with other data teams to improve capabilities around data modeling, testing platforms, and data visualization. * Drive innovation by exploring new statistical methods and brainstorming ways to enhance the current forecasting and reporting infrastructure. * Apply Agile principles through participating in standups, sprint planning, writing business requirements documents, and reviews. Essential Qualifications * 2+ years of relevant experience in data science or a related field. * High proficiency in SQL and Python (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) for data analysis. * Experience with ETL, data pipeline management, and cloud infrastructure for managing large datasets (e.g., AWS, PySpark, Snowflake, Airflow, Databricks). * Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau). * Experience designing and implementing predictive models (e.g., generalized linear models, time series, decision trees, etc.). * Experience working with Git. * Demonstrated sense of ownership and effective project management. * Interpersonal skills. * Natural curiosity. * Client/Customer Focused. * Humility. * Comfort with complex data and flexibility in dynamic environments.
