This part-time, as-needed position offers the opportunity to work on weekends, with some occasional weekdays, at various sites throughout California. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Medical Data Entry and Administrative Professional, you will play a critical role in supporting our medical readiness services.Your key responsibilities will include:* Setting up, taking down, and maintaining workstation equipment at events* Providing check-in and check-out services to event attendees* Offering administrative support to the team as needed* Visually scanning paper documentation to identify pertinent information* Entering and updating information into military systems of record, including MEDCHART, Medical Protection System (MEDPROS), MEDPROS Web Data Entry (MWDE), Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System (DOEHRS), and Medical Operational Data System (MODS)* Scanning and copying documents, if applicable* Maintaining accurate data in spreadsheets* Collaborating with the event team to ensure seamless operations* Safeguarding patient information by maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA and other federal/state laws and regulations* Running reports of necessary data and entering information into systems of record* Conducting high-level data validation to ensure accuracy and integrityEssential QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:* High school diploma or equivalent* Valid US driver's license* 18 years of age or older* Collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset* Ability to pass an extensive background check* Excellent customer service skills and experience interacting with challenging clientele* Intermediate technical skills and knowledge of operating office equipment, such as computers, scanners, and printers* Familiarity with medical and/or dental terminology* 1+ years of experience with data entry in a medical/dental setting* Computer proficiency, specifically bolthires Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly* Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speedPreferred QualificationsWhile not required, the following qualifications are preferred:* Technical skills, including familiarity with military databases: MEDCHART, Medical Protection System (MEDPROS), MEDPROS Web Data Entry (MWDE), Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System (DOEHRS), and Medical Operational Data System (MODS)* Working knowledge of military regulations and policies that apply to Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment* Previous approval for a Common Access Card (CAC), either in the military or as a contractorPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThis role requires:* Occasional standing and walking* Continual sitting* Continual utilization of hand and finger dexterity* Continual talking and hearingCompensation and BenefitsAs a part-time, as-needed employee, you will be compensated on an hourly basis, with a pay range of $18.01 to $29.89 based on experience.blithequark offers a competitive benefits package, including:* Comprehensive health insurance* Retirement savings plan* Paid time off* Opportunities for professional growth and developmentIf you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about supporting the health and well-being of our military personnel, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
