Your key responsibilities will include:* Answering client support requests and determining the technical support issue (i.e., software or hardware related) and escalating to TSG as necessary* Communicating with clients by telephone to discuss recognized issues or concerns and resolve the issues (e.g., equipment or software glitch, client error, etc.)* Investigating recognized issues by gathering information, assessing web resources, or accessing internal sites to identify solutions and work towards resolution* Conducting site visits within the region to investigate issues and install or upgrade equipment and software as necessary* Following up with clients to ensure issues were resolved completely* Completing service orders to prevent functional delays in resolving issuesRequirementsTo be successful in this role, you'll need:* A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field* Experience with bolthires Windows Operating Systems (client/server)* Familiarity with Cisco VPN, Citrix, Phantom, Symantec, Desktop Applications, Dynamic Registry, and other Internet browsers* Specialized certifications such as A+, Network+, or MCP* Technical work experience in a help desk or IT support environmentPreferred Qualifications* Experience with Linux or Unix operating systems* Familiarity with cloud-based services and platforms* Knowledge of network protocols and architecture* Experience with IT service management tools and softwareCompensation and BenefitsOur compensation package reflects the bolthires of living across various US geographic markets.The base salary for this position ranges from $23.85/hour to $38.75/hour, depending on factors such as market area, work-related experience, skills, and education. Eligible candidates may be qualified for annual short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on the level of the position. Payments under these programs are not guaranteed and are subject to various factors, including individual performance, team performance, and company performance.
