As a Data Analyst at blithequark, you'll be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the company's operations. Responsibilities As a Data Analyst at blithequark, your responsibilities will include: * Working with large, messy, disparate datasets to perform ad-hoc analyses and provide essential business insights * Creating ETLs or scripts that pull data from multiple locations and centralize it in a single table * Developing data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges * Engaging with team members and cross-functional groups on a periodic basis to establish credibility and build relationships * Analyzing stakeholder needs and working with them to provide relevant information, including partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product groups on data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems * Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks for reporting, such as screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition * Documenting your methods and sharing your expertise with colleagues * Mentoring colleagues as you become a Subject Matter Expert Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: * Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity * Creativity with a User Experience basis to develop impactful Tableau Dashboards * Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to recognize and root out business problems * A Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally Preferred Qualifications While not required, advanced experience with SQL and Tableau, as well as experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations, would be a plus. Additionally, experience with scripting languages such as Python or other languages, as well as data manipulation tools like Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc., would be beneficial.
