Responsibilities As a Customer Service Support Representative, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to billing and insurance coverage * Researching and communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of customer concerns * Collaborating with other departments to resolve reimbursement opportunities and ensure seamless communication between stakeholders * Initiating payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, adhering to PCI compliance protocols * Documenting telephone conversations clearly and accurately in the respective systems, maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines and regulations * Updating and maintaining records in the billing system, including the review of accounts, payment collections, and case notes * Assisting with other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: * An Associate's degree with at least 1+ year of prior relevant work experience or a High School diploma/GED equivalent with at least 3+ years of relevant work experience * Prior healthcare experience is strongly preferred, with a strong preference given to professional medical billing and collection practices * Ability to interpret and apply understanding of insurance explanation of benefits (EOB) strongly preferred * Previous customer service experience handling high call volume is strongly preferred * Medicare/Medicaid billing experience is preferred * Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes is strongly preferred * Experience with Laboratory Billing and Laboratory Information System (LIS) is preferred * Working knowledge of prior authorization is preferred * Understanding of Women's Health & Genetics Moms Helping Moms of Tomorrow processes is preferred * XIFIN experience is preferred * Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred Desired Skills In addition to the qualifications listed above, we are seeking candidates with: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to follow established program protocols and procedures * Ability to review large amounts of data for accuracy * Must be organized and detail-oriented * Computer proficiency in MS Windows, MS Office, and database experience Physical and Remote Technical Requirements * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer * Internet speed of at least 50 megabytes per second * Ability to connect equipment to router/modem with Ethernet cord * Equipment cannot be connected through Wi-Fi or satellite internet Benefits As a valued member of our team, you will be eligible for comprehensive benefits, including: * Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan * Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only Equal Opportunity Employer blithequark is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to inclusion and belonging in the workforce.
