Job SummaryAs a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for scheduling in-home visits with physicians or nurse practitioners, answering inbound calls from members, and ensuring that appointments are scheduled accurately and resolving any scheduling issues or concerns.This is a high-volume, customer service environment that requires efficiency, productivity, and thoroughness when dealing with our members over the phone. You will also be required to work a flexible schedule that includes evening hours. Primary Responsibilities* Call members to schedule in-home visits with a physician or a nurse practitioner* Answer inbound calls from members and assist them with their inquiries* Ensure that appointments are scheduled accurately and resolve any scheduling issues or concerns* Work in a high-volume, customer service environment that requires efficiency, productivity, and thoroughness* Work a flexible schedule that includes evening hoursRequired Qualifications* High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience* Must be 18 years or older* 1 year of work experience* Experience with bolthires Word, Excel, and Outlook (create/edit/save/send documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence)* Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements* Ability to work an 8-hour shift between our normal business hours of 9:00 am - 5:30 pm local time.It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. Preferred Qualifications* Experience working in the healthcare industry* Experience working with Medicaid or Medicare* Experience working in a customer retention-focused roleTelecommuting Requirements* Reside within EST or CST* Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable)* Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy* Must live in a location that can receive a blithequark-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service* Must be able to connect directly into the internet via a hard wire (either directly to the modem or router)Soft Skills* Ability to type and talk at the same time while navigating through multiple screens* Experience working in a metric-driven work environment* Experience using an auto-dialer system* All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to blithequark's Telecommuter PolicyCompensation and BenefitsThe hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment.Pay is based on several factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. blithequark complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
