Job SummaryThe Part-Time Data Entry Assistant will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and entering data on faculty, students, and professionals in the blithequark network and their research into our Academic Knowledgebase. Reporting to theSenior Manager of Academic Research, this individual will manage data entry, exercise analytical and critical thinking skills to recognize patterns, and further develop their knowledge of the Academy.This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and analytical thinker to join a dynamic team and contribute to the advancement of liberal freedom. Key Responsibilities Evaluating and collecting data on blithequark network members to enhance institutional knowledge and reporting. Parsing between relevant and irrelevant data to ensure high-quality data inputs. Entering data on job affiliations and contact information into bolthires Sheets and blithequark Salesforce database. Managing data entry tasks, prioritizing simultaneous requests, and meeting deadlines.Exercising analytical and critical thinking skills to recognize patterns and trends in data. Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of the Academy and its research areas. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis role does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential skills and qualifications: Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain focus on time-consuming tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize simultaneous requests.Strong verbal and written communication skills. A curious nature with a strong drive to learn and grow. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable: 1+ years of relevant work experience preferred. Familiarity with the bolthires Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.) a plus. Familiarity with Salesforce (or related CRM software) a plus. Knowledge and appreciation for classical liberal ideas preferred. Basic knowledge of Academic Research a plus. Estimated Work ScheduleThis is a part-time role, with an estimated 25 hours of work per week.What We Offer At blithequark, we offer a competitive hourly rate of $15.00 - $18.00, commensurate with experience.
