You'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from completing data access and balancing features to coordinating returns with vendors, the Federal Reserve, and other institutions. You'll also have the opportunity to work with various departments, including accounting, to resolve member inquiries and balance ledgers.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Experienced Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:* Completing data access and balancing features* Coordinating returns with vendors, the Federal Reserve, and other institutions* Assisting other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing* Working member cases/assignments* Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws* Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams* Reviewing, examining, and approvingRemote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products* Logging, reviewing, and making important GL, account changes, and/or returns* Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching* Completing daily balancing and department closing* Obtaining information from members for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests* Researching and affirming incoming and outgoing budget transfer information* Communicating with vendors to process budget transfers* Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws* Depositing check returns, reviewing member back exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming members for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers* Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal feesEssential and Preferred QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:* High school degree or GED* Intermediate Excel and Word experience* Previous customer/member service experience* Previous banking or Credit Union experience* Episys/Symitar and processing wires experienceSkills and CompetenciesAs an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies:* Skilled in bolthires Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through both work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software* Ability to work prolonged hours in aid of business needs* Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills* Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team* Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure* Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department* Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and members* Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision* Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for interest to detail* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits* Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance* Must pass relevant blithequark and Credit Union pre-employment compliance examsWhat You'll GetAs an Experienced Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll have access to a wide range of benefits and perks, including:* Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?You, your family, and your friends can reach 365 destinations on more than 6,800 daily flights across our global network. * HealthBenefits: On day one, you'll have access to your health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits that will help you live well.
