Position Overview Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager at blithequark, the Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk will play a vital role in assisting the accounts payable team with the regular entry and processing of invoices and receipts. Key Responsibilities Organization of accounts payable invoices and related data entry to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Processing of semi-monthly accounts payable electronic fund transfers, adhering to financial regulations and deadlines. Day-to-day organization and monthly reconciliations of executive credit cards, maintaining transparent and accountable financial records.Entering and processing of employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Travel expense organization and reconciliation, providing support for team members and facilitating smooth operational processes. Performing other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the team's success. Qualifications and Work Experience To be successful in this role, you should have: Education or experience in accounting or a related field, preferred.This foundation will serve as a strong basis for your work in financial administration and support. Experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, GST, and payroll remittances, as well as bank and credit card reconciliations. Familiarity with the Sage Intacct accounting program is an asset. A strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting systems, enabling you to make informed decisions and provide accurate support. Demonstrated working knowledge of the Sage Intacct accounting program and SharePoint, along with file management skills, to efficiently manage and process financial data.Proficiency in bolthires Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software and multiple media platforms, facilitating effective communication and collaboration. Advanced skills in MS Excel, with the ability to analyze data, create reports, and present findings in a clear and concise manner. A self-motivated approach with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a team-oriented setting, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively. Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and take initiative, addressing challenges proactively and seeking solutions that benefit the team and the organization.Effective verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster and work within a multidisciplinary remote team environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
