Key Responsibilities Determines eligibility and confirms effective dates for benefit elections based on contractual guidelines, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Maintains accurate member records by verifying dates, names, salary figures, and other information provided by groups, applying a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.Applies policy provisions for effective dates, evidence of insurability, and other pertinent information to determine necessary changes, demonstrating sound judgment and discretion. Leverages critical thinking and problem-solving skills to create and modify member-level records across multiple products, applications, and platforms, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Delivers routine work independently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, meeting deadlines and exceeding departmental quality and service standards.Makes routine and non-routine decisions, applying limited but increasingly more discretion within the role, except for matters of significance that affect the business as a whole or a significant part of it. Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will require a combination of education, skills, and experience.The minimum requirements include: High School or GED (Minimum Required) No prior experience required, although experience in data entry, claims processing, or a related field is an asset.
