Turing is looking for candidates with strong experience in pharmacy operations, medication management, and patient counseling, particularly at the level expected for licensed pharmacists in community or retail pharmacy environments. Role Overview: • In this role, you will be working on projects to help fine-tune and evaluate large language models using your pharmaceutical and retail operations expertise. • No prior AI experience is required. • These projects will help you explore how AI can be leveraged to improve prescription accuracy, medication safety, inventory management, and patient communication in modern pharmacy workflows. What Does Day-to-Day Look Like: • Design and solve real-world pharmacy and retail healthcare scenarios to test AI reasoning. • Write clear, structured explanations covering prescription verification, dosage counseling, formulary management, and over-the-counter medication guidance. • Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, professionalism, and compliance with patient safety and regulatory standards. • Collaborate with researchers to refine AI understanding of drug classifications, pharmacy operations, and patient care workflows. Requirements: • 4+ years of experience as a Pharmacist in a retail, community, or chain pharmacy setting. • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or an equivalent pharmacy degree. • Active pharmacist license in the U.S. (or equivalent jurisdiction) required. • Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, inventory management, and medication safety protocols. • Excellent English communication and reasoning skills. • Ability to clearly explain pharmaceutical and consumer health concepts.
