Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Retail Customer Service Associate at Blithequark, you will be responsible for:* Providing exceptional customer service by anticipating customer needs, suggesting alternatives, and finding solutions to meet customer needs* Operating and maintaining a wide variety of equipment, including printing, binding, and shipping equipment* Taking complex customer orders using order systems and providing accurate pricing information* Assembling parcels and preparing goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels* Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly retail store* Processing financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change* Cleaning, repairing, and stocking all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to provide optimal performance and availability* Staying current on retail store merchandising materials and ensuring proper display of all retail area product and signage* Taking preemptive action to prevent errors and waste* Completing required financial paperwork and may assist with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits* Following Blithequark standard operating procedures as well as adhering to legal, HR, safety, customer service, and security policies and proceduresEssential Qualifications and Requirements* High school diploma or equivalent education* 6+ months of specialized experience* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods* Ability to move and lift 55 pounds* Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees* Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members* Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction* Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure* Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time* Ability, on a consistent basis, to work with minimal supervision* Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the Blithequark businessPreferred Qualifications* Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment* Knowledge of printing, signs, and graphics, as well as shipping services* Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer informationBenefits and Perks* Competitive hourly rate* Opportunities for career growth and professional development* Comprehensive training program to ensure success in the role* Collaborative and dynamic work environment* Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance* Opportunities for advancement and leadership development* Access to Blithequark's Quality initiatives and training programsWork Environment and CultureBlithequark is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork.Our retail store is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and we are seeking individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and working in a team environment.
