Your primary responsibility will be to welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting customers with locating and handling merchandise, processing orders and deliveries, and ensuring that all customer needs are met. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers to blithequark, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds) Guide customers through shopping or checkout Complete other duties as assigned Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction) Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience Bi-lingual skills Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials) Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.You should be customer-focused, with a strong desire to help others and provide exceptional service.
