Key Responsibilities As a Customer Advocate I, you will be responsible for: Responding to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. Conducting research to resolve complex issues and provide accurate information. Spending approximately 85% of the scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs.Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that members and physicians feel valued and supported. Working collaboratively with internal teams to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent. At least 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment. Data entry and/or typing experience. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make independent decisions.The ability to spend approximately 90% of the scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs, and sit for long periods with scheduled breaks. Preferred Qualifications While not required, we prefer candidates with: At least 9 months of customer service experience. Experience working with various lines of business, such as CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. A proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
