As a key member of our facilities and recreational services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all patrons, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and providing exceptional customer service to our students, faculty, and staff. If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering outstanding service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Key Responsibilities Greet patrons and guests, ensuring a visibly positive and approachable composure to promote patron-employee relations Assist all customers with various questions and problems in customer service areas Perform basic cleaning responsibilities, including trash, equipment, and laundry Set up and operate special events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patrons by completing assigned shifts, duties, and enforcing facility policies Serve as a first responder to accidents within the building, providing prompt and effective support Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications: Current American Red Cross CPR for theProfessional Rescuer, AED, and Standard First Aid certifications, or obtained within the first 30 days of employment BBP Certification obtained within the first 30 days of employment Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people Basic cleaning and maintenance skills, with the ability to perform tasks such as trash removal and equipment cleaning Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in customer service, facilities management, or a related field Knowledge of facility policies and procedures, with the ability to enforce them effectively Basic first aid and emergency response training, with the ability to respond to accidents and incidents Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people Basic cleaning and maintenance skills, with the ability to perform tasks such as trash removal and equipment cleaning Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork Basic first aid and emergency response training, with the ability to respond to accidents and incidents Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of peopleCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.As a Student Customer Service Coordinator, you will have access to a range of training and development programs, including customer service training, first aid and emergency response training, and facilities management training.
