We are now seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Associate to on a full-time basis, working remotely with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, and occasional overtime as offered. Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, preparing, and entering alphabetic and numeric data from various source documents into our computer system for storage, processing, and data management purposes.This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and proficiency in typing, with a minimum speed of 60 words per minute. As a Data Entry Associate at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our data, which is essential for delivering high-quality services to our clients. Key Responsibilities Gather, organize, and prepare source documents for data entry into the appropriate system database, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.Review data for discrepancies, missing pages or information, and resolve discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution. Enter both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Review data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correct any data entry errors or duplications, ensuring data integrity and quality. Follow data program security practices and procedures at all times, adhering to blithequark's data protection policies and HIPAA regulations.Routinely secure information by completing database backup daily, ensuring business continuity and data availability. Perform other varied clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Maintain confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times, adhering to HIPAA regulations and blithequark's confidentiality policies. Qualifications and Requirements To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications and requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required, demonstrating a foundation in basic education and skills.Must be able to achieve 8,000 or higher on a 10-key test, preferably above 10,000, showcasing proficiency in data entry and keyboard skills. A minimum of 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience, demonstrating familiarity with data entry principles and practices. Experience in a medical office preferred, although not essential, as it can provide valuable insight into healthcare services and operations. Must possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone, demonstrating proficiency in using various office equipment and technology.Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to bolthires Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet, showcasing adaptability and proficiency in using different software applications. Must have a full understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance, ensuring the protection of sensitive patient information and adherence to regulatory requirements. Must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 60 W.P.M., demonstrating excellent typing skills and accuracy.
