This mission-critical role will play a vital part in managing our administrative documentation, ensuring compliance with established guidelines, and supporting our leadership team in resolving backlog cases effectively.Key Responsibilities As a Medical Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for: Accurately inputting, processing, and managing medical and administrative documentation for a variety of patients, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements. Reviewing, verifying, and organizing client documentation to ensure consistency and adherence to established guidelines, identifying discrepancies or incomplete entries, and correcting them in a timely manner. Collaborating with our leadership team to prioritize and resolve backlog cases effectively, providing periodic progress updates on the status of addressing the backlog, and supporting process improvement initiatives to enhance workflows and optimize data entry efficiency.Conducting quality checks on entered data to ensure accuracy, proper formatting, and completeness, maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Handling sensitive and confidential client information with professionalism and adherence to compliance regulations, including HIPAA, and communicating effectively with team members to resolve issues or obtain missing information. Providing exceptional support to our team, ensuring seamless service delivery, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: At least 2 years of prior data entry experience, ideally in the healthcare field, with a proven track record of accurately and efficiently managing large volumes of administrative documentation. A comfort level working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment that requires an extreme level of attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. High-speed data entry skills, with a minimum of 8,000 ksph, and experience working with various software applications and systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, leadership, and clients. An Associate's degree in Business or a related field is preferred, but not required, with a strong focus on detail-oriented and organized individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional support in a healthcare setting. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a mission-driven organization, with a strong understanding of the importance of efficient administrative processes in healthcare service delivery.Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, and experience working in a compliance-driven environment.
