As a Member Service Representative, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional telephone assistance to our Medicaid members and providers. Your expertise and dedication will help us deliver an outstanding experience to our callers, addressing their inquiries, and resolving their concerns in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming calls from members and providers, responding to a wide range of inquiries, including eligibility, benefits, services, prior authorization requirements, and extra benefits and programs.Provide accurate and timely information, ensuring that our members and providers receive the support they need to navigate our services and benefits. Utilize strong customer service skills to de-escalate concerns, resolve issues, and promote a positive experience for our callers. Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals, consistently demonstrating a commitment to excellence in customer service. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues, ensuring that our members and providers receive seamless support and care.Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must reside within 50 miles of Richmond, VA, and be able to commute to our office in Richmond when necessary. You will also need to have: High-speed internet connectivity via an ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with members and providers orally and in written form. A high school diploma or equivalent. The ability to work from home and demonstrate self-sufficiency in a remote work environment.Preferred Qualifications Experience working remotely in a call center setting. Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare. Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare environment.
