As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data, creating reports, and making recommendations for process improvements that align with the company's objectives. You will work closely with the Quality Control team to identify trends and performance metrics, and you will be expected to communicate your findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Responsibilities and ObligationsThe responsibilities and obligations of the Quality Control Standards Data Analyst may include, but are not limited to:* Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components. * Assisting with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. * Assisting with exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enableSenior Leadership to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities.* Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding. * Assisting with creating and disseminating specific queries to pull and coordinate data from different sources, laying out the rhythm, and approving the need of the information requirements. * Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team. * Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors* Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision* May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader.Information, Skills, Work Style, and CompetenciesThe ideal candidate will have:* The ability to gather, organize, and analyze large amounts of data with care and accuracy. * The ability to effectively listen, understand, and communicate ideas and present them in writing, verbally, or presentations delivered to discussions of varying audiences. * The ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. * A working knowledge of bolthires Office* Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred.* The ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning. * The ability to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred* Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred* The ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-based environment* The ability to focus on responsibilities independently and be a self-motivated individual. * Past internship experience in a related field is preferred* The ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately.* The ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
