Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:* Contacting policyholders from our existing book of business via inbound/outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal* Reviewing and updating policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of customers* Counseling customers on appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws to best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by property and casualty insurance* Making recommendations and/or changes to policies and gaining customer acceptance to process the changes* Receiving and responding to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity in EPIC* Utilizing knowledge of the insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service* Providing quotes on endorsements as requested* Identifying opportunities to apply discounts, processing insurance verification forms for insured, and acting as liaison for information exchange between customers and insurance companies* Processing changes to policies within EPIC and submitting changes to specific companies, following up with the company to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner* Reviewing policy information and referencing company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims* Mailing insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from member/customer* Recognizing cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtaining quote information* Performing other duties as assignedWhat We OfferAs an Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you can expect a competitive hourly rate, depending on experience and salary zone, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including:* Eligibility for Annual Merit Increase* Comprehensive Health benefits package, including Paid Time Off (accruals begin on first day of employment), 401(k) plan with a company match, Medical, Dental, Prescription, and Vision Coverage, Tuition Reimbursement, Life Insurance, and Flexible Spending Accounts* Nearly 4 weeks of paid time off accrued during the first year* Paid time off to volunteer* Tuition reimbursement* 401(K) plan with company match up to 7%* Free AAA Premier Battery MembershipWhat We Need from YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:* A high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment* A Property and Casualty insurance license required* Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employmentWhy Join blithequark?At blithequark, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture, where our team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
