As a Customer Service Support Representative, you will play a critical role in resolving complex patient billing issues, providing timely and effective support to patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers.If you are interested in a career where learning and engagement are valued, and the lives you touch provide you with a higher sense of purpose, then blithequark is the place for you! Key Responsibilities Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's offices, and/or private insurance carriers, providing timely and effective support to resolve complex billing inquiries. Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring that all interactions are handled with empathy and professionalism.Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Maintain performance goals, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, and demonstrating a willingness to learn and improve through feedback and coaching. Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program, demonstrating a strong ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of 1+ year of work experience in a related field.Previous work experience in medical billing, customer service, insurance claims, EOB, call center, or fast-paced environment strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple computer screens and applications, and maintain accurate records. Proficiency navigating multiple computer screens and applications, with alpha-numeric data entry proficiency.Preferred Qualifications Previous work experience in a high-volume call environment with several computer windows open highly desirable. Previous interaction and communication with patients regarding medical information strongly preferred. Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a strong ability to manage time and tasks independently while maintaining productivity. Technical and Other Requirements Internet download speed of at least 50 megabytes per second connectivity required if working remotely.Dedicated area to perform duties without interference, with a structured environment and structured breaks.
