3D Drafter/Content Creator (Navy/DoD)

About the positionResponsibilities• Work in 3D modeling and 2D computer-aided drafting (CAD) using SOLIDWORKS or other 3D modeling software. • Assist with interactive video development using 3D modeling techniques. • Develop detailed technical documentation including 2D Technical Drawings. • Create interactive 3D Animation/Video for training purposes. • Collaborate with an integrated product team, including technical and non-technical teammates. Requirements• Technical diploma, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in a drafting or design discipline.• At least three years of recent, relevant professional experience with 3D modeling and drafting. • Strong proficiency with SOLIDWORKS or similar 3D modeling tools. • Experience in hardware design, development, model-based definition (MBD), prototyping, and integration of electromechanical systems. • Knowledge of ASME Y14 standards and GD&T certification is preferred. • Proficient with bolthires Office suite and Adobe Acrobat. • Strong communication skills. Nice-to-haves• Experience in a US Navy, Coast Guard, or DOD environment is highly preferred.• Experience with SOLIDWORKS PDM administration and SOLIDWORKS Composer. • Ready Relevant Learning Development.
