Your primary focus will be on contested proxy meetings, where you will engage with shareholders, address their concerns, and provide them with accurate information to make informed decisions. Provide accurate and timely information to shareholders, ensuring they have the necessary details to make informed decisions about their investments.Direct shareholders on the voting process, ensuring they know how and where to cast their votes. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's goals, values, and vision, as well as the specifics of each proxy campaign, to effectively communicate with shareholders. Collaborate with internal teams to stay updated on campaign developments and to ensure a cohesive approach to shareholder communications. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills, ensuring you are always equipped to handle the evolving needs of shareholders.Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you must possess a High School Diploma or GED, coupled with at least 6 months of experience in customer service, data entry, or a related field. A good speaking voice and excellent grammar and English speaking skills are also essential. You should be comfortable working in a remote setting and have the ability to read from a script while maintaining a conversational tone. PreferredQualifications: Previous experience in shareholder communications or a related field is highly desirable.Familiarity with proxy meetings and the processes involved. Experience working with dual monitors and proficiency in using headsets for clear communication. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments. Equipment Requirements To perform this role effectively, you will need: A Windows 10 or 11 operating system (other operating systems like Lenex, Chrome, or MAC are not compatible).A USB headset for clear and uninterrupted communication. Dual monitors, although not required, are beneficial for multitasking and efficiency. A reliable internet connection with a minimum download speed of 50 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps. The ability to participate fully in virtual meetings, including coming off mute when required, having relevant materials open, and engaging in chat tasks as requested.
