As a work-from-home Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our policyholders. What You Will Be DoingAs an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling property & casualty (p&c) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone.Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service and support to our policyholders, while also driving business growth and retention through your expertise and recommendations. Some of your key responsibilities will include:* Contacting policyholders from our existing book of business through inbound/outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal* Reviewing and updating policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer* Counseling policyholders concerning appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws that will best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance* Making appropriate recommendations and/or changes to the policy and gaining policyholder acceptance to process the changes* Receiving and responding to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity (changes to policy, coverage options, recommendations, and cross-selling) in EPIC* Utilizing knowledge of the insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service* Providing quotes on endorsements as requested* Identifying opportunities to apply discounts, processing insurance verification forms for insured, and acting as liaison for information exchange between customer and insurance companies* Processing changes to policies within EPIC, as well as submitting changes to specific companies and following up to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner* Reviewing policy information and referencing company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims* Mailing insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, and following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from member/customer* Recognizing cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtaining quote informationWhat We Need from YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:* High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment* Property and Casualty insurance license required* Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with policyholders* Strong knowledge of the insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound recommendations* Proficiency in EPIC and other relevant software systems* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and supportWhat We Can Offer YouAs a valued member of our team, you can expect to receive a competitive hourly rate, depending on experience and salary zone.You will also be eligible for an Annual Merit Increase, as well as a comprehensive health benefits package, including:* Comprehensive Health benefits package, including Paid Time Off (accruals begin on first day of employment), 401(k) plan with a company match, Medical, Dental, Prescription, and Vision Coverage, Tuition Reimbursement, Life Insurance, and Flexible Spending Accounts* Nearly 4 weeks of paid time off accrued during the first year* Paid time off to volunteer* Tuition reimbursement* 401(K) plan with company match up to 7%* Free AAA Premier Battery MembershipWork Environment and Company CultureAs a work-from-home Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team.Our company culture is built on a foundation of respect, empathy, and open communication, and we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all team members.
