Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for handling high-volume inbound calls, providing accurate information, and assisting callers with their applications. You will also be required to follow a call script, provide follow-up and next steps, and adhere to company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Handle high-volume inbound calls and provide accurate information to patients and healthcare providers Assist callers with information and status of their applications Follow a call script and provide follow-up and next steps for callers Provide excellent customer service and an effortless experience to callers Multitask between several internal system programs Follow company policies and procedures Schedule and Work Environment The schedule for this position is 8am-10pm EST, Monday through Saturday, and you must be able to work any 8-hour shift between these hours and be available to work Saturdays. You will be working from home, and you will need to have a quiet workstation with high-speed internet and modem access. What You Need to Succeed 1 year or more of recent experience in a call center (no exceptions) Quiet workstation with high-speed internet and modem access required Basic computer proficiency (typing, data entry, navigating systems) Strong attention to detail and accuracy HS Diploma/Equivalent Essential and Preferred Qualifications In addition to the requirements listed above, we are looking for individuals who have healthcare experience, although it is not required. You should also have the ability to multitask and use dual monitors, and you should be able to adhere to all company-required KPIs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening, and problem-solving ability are also essential for success in this role.
