You'll work closely with our Manager of Publishing Finance & Operations to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, problem-solving, and project management in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Responsibilities and ProjectsAs a Planning & Operations Analytics Intern, your responsibilities will include:* Craft and Deliver Impactful Industry Trend Reports: You'll analyze data and create regular reports to provide senior management with insights-driven recommendations to inform business decisions. * Power the Marvel Print Run Process: You'll support critical elements of Marvel's weekly print run process, ensuring that the right number of books hits the shelves at the right time. * Mastering COGS Summaries: You'll be responsible for preparing COGS (bolthires of Goods Sold) summaries, comparing forecasts with actuals, and highlighting growing trends to guide data-driven decisions.* Inventory Optimization Expert: You'll collaborate with our Planning team to analyze sales and inventory movement, allowing us to optimize warehouse inventory and prevent stock shortages. * Title and Contributor Metadata Optimization: You'll lead metadata optimization tasks, including title and contributor (artist/writer) enhancements, to supercharge sales for our valued retailers.
