ResponsibilitiesAs a Data Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for:* Designing, building, and managing data pipelines that ensure seamless integration of all client event data into our data warehouse. * Developing standardized datasets to track key product metrics, including user growth, engagement, and revenue.* Collaborating with teams across Infrastructure, Data Science, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Research to understand data needs and provide solutions. * Implementing robust, fault-tolerant systems for data ingestion and processing. * Contributing to data architecture and engineering decisions, bringing strong insights and expertise. * Ensuring the security, integrity, and compliance of data according to industry and company standards. Key Responsibilities:* Design and implement data pipelines using industry-standard tools and technologies.* Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable data architectures. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and provide solutions. * Implement data security and compliance measures to ensure data integrity. * Contribute to data architecture and engineering decisions, bringing expertise and insights. QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:* Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in Data Engineering, such as Python, Scala, or Java. * Experience with distributed processing technologies and frameworks like Hadoop, Flink, and storage systems such as HDFS and S3.* Expertise in ETL schedulers like Apache Airflow, Dagster, or similar frameworks. * Strong understanding of Apache Spark with the ability to write, debug, and optimize Spark code. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. EssentialQualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. * 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related field. * Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in Data Engineering.* Experience with distributed processing technologies and frameworks. * Expertise in ETL schedulers and data security measures.
