Why You'll LoveThis JobAt blithequark, we're committed to providing our customers with the best possible experience.As a member of our Payments and Digital Strategy team, you will be responsible for processing various transactions, including check processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers. You will also assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing. Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Experienced Full Stack Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:* Completing data access and balancing tasks* Coordinating return items with vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions* Assisting other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing* Working member cases/assignments* Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws* Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks* Reviewing, examining, and approvingRemote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products* Logging, reviewing, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns* Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching* Completing daily balancing and department closing* Obtaining information from members for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests* Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing budget transfer information* Communicating with vendors to process budget transfers* Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws* Depositing check returns, reviewing member check returns on draft changes, processing member checks, verifying members for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers* Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal feesAll You'll Need for SuccessTo be successful in this role, you will need:* A high school degree or GED* Intermediate Excel and Word experience* Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience* Previous banking or credit union experience* Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience* Skilled in bolthires Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)* Ability to work prolonged hours in aid of business needs* Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team* Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure* Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department* Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and members* Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision* Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for interest to detail* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits* Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance* Must pass relevant blithequark and Credit Union pre-employment compliance examsWhat You'll GetAs a member of our team, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including:* Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?You, your family, and friends can reach 365 destinations on over 6,800 daily flights across our global network. * HealthBenefits: On day one, you'll have access to your health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits that will help you live well.
