Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting orders assigned to different accounts, making adjustments as necessary. Apply sound accounting principles and develop or recommend accounting procedures and policies to improve our financial reporting and compliance processes. Collaborate with accountants, accounting clerks, and other stakeholders to participate in daily accounting activities, providing guidance and support as needed.Coordinate accounting matters with different departments, regions, and divisions to ensure seamless communication and compliance. Participate in financial reporting, including the preparation of monthly financial statements and other reports as required. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications: Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US. Have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in accounting or a related field.Hold a four-year degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience. Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment. Be proficient in bolthires Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, and have experience with general ledger software such as SAP or similar programs. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: 3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial data analysis and reporting.Advanced knowledge of bolthires Office Suite, including Excel, Access, and Word. Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members. Certification in accounting, such as CPA or CMA, or equivalent professional designation.
