Job SummaryAs an Experienced Data Analyst & Online Chat Assistant, you will play a critical role in developing and sustaining coverage, providing departmental insights on efficiency, and creating data-driven solutions to address various quantitative tasks. You will work closely with technology to meet department demands and ensure data integrity and accessibility.Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth, improving decision-making, and enhancing our data-driven approach. Key Responsibilities* Develop and maintain coverage, including creating new, modifying existing, and performing ad-hoc coverage to support business processes and data-driven decision-making. * Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, preserve complete records, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements. * Design and implement scalable data pipelines and data architecture to support business intelligence and analytics.* Utilize data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI. * Help automate existing business processes and enhance exception-based reporting. * Partner with IT and business analysts to discover, analyze, and extract new data variables (data mining). * Evaluate large datasets to identify relevant patterns and provide actionable insights. * Validate data for accuracy by verifying against requirements. * Research data errors and remediate poor data. * Participate in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & methods.* Examine and validate metrics to ensure effectiveness and provide recommendations to team leaders on areas that require attention. Essential Qualifications* 2+ years of experience in comprehensive data analysis. * Strong experience working with Power BI, including:+ Handling various data objects like Dimensions, Solutions, Filters, Computed Fields, makeovers, parameters, conditional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, etc. + Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code. * Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex SQL queries to create files and analytics.* Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations. * Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other procedures. * Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets. * Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query. * Familiarity with Smartsheets. Preferred Qualifications* Experience with statistical analysis and data mining. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Experience with data governance and data quality management.
