In this role, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, handling inbound customer chats and emails, and providing comprehensive support to our valued customers.Key Responsibilities As a Seasonal Chat Support Representative at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: Customer Interaction : Address and resolve customer inquiries regarding orders, ensuring all information provided is accurate and up-to-date. This will involve handling a high volume of chats and emails, providing personalized support, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Data Management : Utilize various computer software and applications to navigate customer accounts, document case notes, process orders, and handle payment information efficiently.You will be required to have strong technical skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Brand Representation : Serve as an ambassador for the blithequark brand, personalizing each interaction to foster customer loyalty and retention. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of our products and services, and be able to communicate this knowledge to our customers in a clear and concise manner. Performance Standards : Consistently meet attendance requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain high service quality.You will be required to work a minimum of 32-40 hours per week, with various shifts during our hours of operation. Information Security : Uphold the safety, security, and privacy of all customer information in compliance with company policies. You will be required to have a strong understanding of data protection principles and practices, and be able to apply these in your daily work. Additional Support : Perform other tasks as needed to support business operations. This may include participating in training and development programs, contributing to process improvements, and supporting other team members during peak periods.Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will require: Experience : While prior customer service or retail experience is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement. However, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to demonstrate a strong customer-focused approach. Communication Skills : Proficiency in English, with strong verbal and written communication abilities, including proper grammar and syntax. You will be required to have excellent typing skills, with the ability to meet minimum requirements for a typing speed and accuracy test.Interpersonal Skills : Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively address customer needs and concerns. You will need to be able to build rapport with customers, and provide personalized support to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction. Adaptability : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, meeting performance expectations and goals. You will need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances, including shifts in customer demand and business priorities. Problem-Solving : Strong aptitude for quickly understanding new information, diagnosing issues, and providing appropriate solutions.You will need to be able to think critically and creatively, and be able to apply this skills to resolve complex customer issues. Conflict Resolution : Capability to handle and resolve conflicts positively and professionally. You will need to be able to remain calm and composed under pressure, and be able to negotiate and resolve issues in a fair and reasonable manner. Work from Home Requirements To work from home as a Seasonal Chat Support Representative at blithequark, you will require: Dedicated Workspace : A dedicated, secure, and distraction-free workspace that meets our technical and security requirements.Computer Equipment : A desktop or laptop (with the latest Operating System installed), 2 functional monitors, and a reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50Mps download and 5Mps upload. Cell Phone and Headset : A cell phone with an active service plan, and a cell phone headset with a microphone. Web Camera : A web camera (either integrated or external) that meets our technical requirements.
