Job OverviewThis is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Key Responsibilities Assist all internal and external customers in a professional manner, ensuring that their queries are resolved promptly and efficiently. Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times, even in challenging situations. Receive requests from multiple sources (phone, fax, e-Commerce, in-person) and complete the necessary processes for equipment services.Coordinate home equipment service requests with the Dispatch team for prompt delivery, ensuring that our customers receive their equipment on time. Engage in active listening with customers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing angry customers, as needed, to de-escalate conflicts and provide resolutions. Provide customers with product and service information, ensuring that they are well-informed about our offerings and can make the best decisions for their needs. Maintain current knowledge on Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources for equipment, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and changes in these areas.Verify medical necessity, insurance coverage, and physician orders for all insurance-assigned services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Follow policy and work instructions to ensure that the Billing Department has the correct paperwork to complete insurance claims accurately and efficiently. Understand and strive to meet or exceed department metrics while providing excellent customer service, contributing to the overall success of our team. Make sales or recommendations for products or services that may complement client needs, as applicable, to enhance their experience with blithequark.Perform other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you must be professional, proactive, and positive, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.6 months of relevant customer service experience is preferred, although we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a passion for customer service and a willingness to learn.
