As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will undergo comprehensive, paid training to ensure you have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional support to our customers. This training will be conducted remotely, and you will be required to attend 4 weeks of training, Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5:30pm ET.Key Responsibilities Handle customer service inquiries and problems via phone, email, or chat, recording consistent problem areas and providing timely resolutions Utilize computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting to respond to customer inquiries Process requests received via general correspondence and notate accounts regarding actions taken in response to those requests Support Contact Center expectations, as well as departmental and corporate policies and procedures Maintain regular use of the feedback tool to give and receive constructive feedback on call quality and department tasks Assist with Credit Bureau Requests utilizing established processes and procedures Refer escalated calls or inquiries to appropriate levels as needed Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic math and PC skills, including MS Office applications Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to organize simultaneous tasks Regular and predictable attendance is required Available to support all FSA programs via reassignment between programs (moving from one program to another), as needed Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a stronger candidate for this role: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or call center environment Familiarity with federal student aid loan servicing or education-related customer service Experience with computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Strong organizational and time management skillsCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.As a Customer Service Representative, you will have access to comprehensive training and development programs, as well as opportunities for career advancement within the company.
