Experienced Customer Service Representative - Payments and Digital Strategy Team

Why You'll LoveThis RoleAs a key member of the Payments and Digital Strategy team at blithequark, you'll be responsible for handling daily tasks related to check processing, object processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers.You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless operations, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities* Complete data access and balancing tasks* Coordinate return objects with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve, and other institutions* Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing* Work on member cases/assignments as needed* Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws* Process mortgage payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other transactions, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff transactions* Review, examine, and approveRemote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products* Log, review, and make necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns* Process Stop Pays and Check Batching* Complete daily balancing and department closing* Obtain information from contributors for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests* Research and verify incoming and outgoing budget transfer information* Communicate with vendors to process budget transfers* Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer regulations* Deposit check returns, review member draft changes, process member transactions, verify contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers* Complete daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal feesWhat You'll Need for SuccessMinimum Qualifications* High school degree or GED* Intermediate Excel and Word experiencePreferred Qualifications* Previous customer/member service experience* Previous banking or Credit Union experience* Episys/Symitar and processing wiresEssential Skills and Competencies* Skilled in bolthires Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through work experience or education, with hands-on use of the software* Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs* Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills* Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team* Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high volume pressure* Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department* Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors* Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision* Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for attention to detail* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines* Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance* Must pass relevant blithequark and Credit Union pre-employment compliance examsWhat You'll GetAt blithequark, we're committed to providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:* Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?You, your family, and friends can access 365 destinations on over 6,800 daily flights across our global network. * HealthBenefits: On day one, you'll have access to your health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits to help you stay healthy.
