You will not only assist customers with their orders and returns but also be responsible for the overall management of a Locker location. This includes receiving and processing customer orders, maintaining a safe and organized workspace, and utilizing technology to efficiently manage packages. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team, combined with a customer-centric approach, will make you an invaluable asset to our blithequark family.Duties and Responsibilities Receive, pick, and stow customer orders, process returns, and prepare packages for delivery, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction in every interaction. Work through problem-solving scenarios for customers, demonstrating patience, understanding, and a proactive approach to resolving concerns. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to blithequark's high standards of safety and quality.Manage responsibilities for a Locker location, including opening and closing the site, ensuring a seamless operation and adherence to blithequark's policies and procedures. Utilize technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders, staying up-to-date with the latest tools and systems. Receive truck deliveries, ensuring that all packages are handled with care and processed efficiently. Physical and Work Environment Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.You should be comfortable standing and walking during shifts that can last up to five hours, with or without reasonable accommodation. The ability to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around, as well as going up and down stairs where applicable, is also necessary. Your availability to work part-time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., with schedules varying week to week, is crucial for meeting the demands of our customers and the business. The activity level is moderate, with most of your shift spent on your feet, helping customers and sorting packages. Our Locker locations are in comfortable, climate-controlled environments, with minimal noise levels.
