Customer Experience* Engage with customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services* Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience* Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience* Utilize interpersonal habits and Walgreen service traits to provide exceptional customer service, including:+ Offering help proactively+ Identifying needs+ Servicing until satisfiedOperations* Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service* Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested* Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records* Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader* Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including:+ Utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information+ Ensuring information is entered correctly+ Filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs+ Verifying medicine is correct+ Checking for possible interactions+ Reporting prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adhering to Company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement ProgramPharmacy Support* Assist and support Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as:+ Ordering+ Unpacking+ Checking and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals* Maintain knowledge of Company asset protection techniques and file claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs* Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products)Visual Merchandising* Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise* Assist with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures* Restock outs using the first in, first out methodPhoto Services* Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine* Suggestively sell promotional photo productsWeb Pick-up* Assume web pick-up responsibilities, including:+ Monitoring orders in Picture Care Plus+ Filling orders (pick items)+ Delivering orders to customers as they arrive at storeTraining & Personal Development* Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration* Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate and acquire continuing education credits* Maintain knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest news and developmentsWhat We Offer* Competitive compensation and benefits package* Opportunities for career growth and professional development* Collaborative and dynamic work environment* Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance* Comprehensive training and support to ensure successRequirements* High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification a plus* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekendsIf you are a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join the blithequark team.
