As a remote workplace, we offer the flexibility and autonomy to work from anywhere, while still providing the support and resources you need to succeed.ResponsibilitiesAs an Associate Software Engineer on our Customer360 Team, your responsibilities will include:* Applying your knowledge and skills of software development and testing to solve a range of problems and ensure that the software developed is valid, properly structured, and meets industry standards. * Leveraging your knowledge to inform technical and non-technical requirements and apply to business domain fundamentals. * Maintaining an understanding of current technologies or programming practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups.* Troubleshooting program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning across environments, including production. * Evaluating code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, and meets industry standards. * Analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and bolthires constraints. * Contributing to team-level technical discussions and decisions and identifying opportunities for team improvement. * Following agile delivery processes to drive work and having a sense of urgency about getting work completed.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you'll need:* Proficient knowledge of software development methodologies, practices, concepts, and technologies. * Ability to apply knowledge and skills of software development and testing to solve a range of problems. * Proficient knowledge of at least one required programming language. * Ability to communicate and negotiate with various technology or partner teams. * Ability to analyze large, complex, and vague business or technical problems, articulating the problem or root cause, and translating the analysis into viable solution recommendations.* Ability to take on multiple assignments, whether administrative or project-related, while maintaining a successful level of completion in all responsible work. * Ability to develop, present, and effectively communicate ideas and strategies to a variety of audiences. * Entry-level experience, developing skills and knowledge in software engineering. Nice-to-HavesWhile not required, the following skills and qualifications would be a plus:* Experience with Salesforce applications and development. * Knowledge of agile delivery processes and methodologies.* Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and platforms. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
