Job Summary The Seasonal Part-Time Customer Relations Associate plays a vital role in ensuring that every customer has a legendary experience at blithequark. As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you will be responsible for greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing information and direction to customers. Your primary goal will be to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes our customers feel valued and appreciated. Key Responsibilities Secure all firearms brought into the store with trigger locks, ensuring a safe and responsible environment for all customers. Check in all Vendor representatives, completing the necessary visitor log information and controlling the visitor badges, to maintain a high level of security and organization. Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service, ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. Greet all customers as they enter the store in a friendly and outgoing manner, setting the tone for a positive and engaging experience. Handle customer's merchandise returns, complete refund/exchange paperwork, and sort returns by category, returning them to the proper area, to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Sell appropriate Hunting and Fishing Licenses, providing customers with the necessary information and support to enjoy their outdoor activities. Handle and administer all incentive and reward programs, promoting our products and services to customers and encouraging loyalty and retention. Remain product knowledgeable, staying up-to-date on the latest products and services, to provide expert advice and guidance to customers. Remain aware of advertised sales, promotions, and events, to keep customers informed and engaged. Keep your work area clean, neat, and well-stocked with supplies, maintaining a professional and organized environment. Follow all blithequark Policies and Procedures, adhering to our high standards of quality and customer service. Provide a legendary experience for every customer, every time, by identifying and evaluating customers' needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. Essential Qualifications Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience. Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers, and customers, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration. Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technology. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or retail, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences. Knowledge of outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing, with a passion for conservation and sustainability. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm. Ability to lift and move objects up to 20 pounds, occasionally move and lift objects up to 100 pounds or more, with a willingness to assist with physical tasks as needed.
