School Counselor - Elementary - Bonus Eligible

Here’s what to expect: • Develop and monitor student ECAP • Review and monitor student progress towards graduation • Provide students with organization, study, and testing skills • Provide support and interventions for academically at-risk students • Develop scholarship and college admissions resources for students • Support student decision making skills to develop life-long learners • Actively participate in Student Study Teams, 504, and IEP process • Participate in crisis interventions involving individual students, families, and school • Refer students/parents to community agencies, programs, or specialists as appropriate • Develop referral resources for students, parents, and staff • Other duties as required to meet the needs of studentsThe Successful Candidate possesses: • A current Arizona Guidance Counselor certificate • 3+ years of full-time experience as a K-5 Guidance Counselor • High level of comfort with bolthires applications and the latest technologies • Online experience preferred • Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card • Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred We offer a competitive salary, paid health benefits for the employee, 401k and a strong collaborative culture.Salary for school counselors is $55,000 annually, excluding Prop 301 funding.
