Ramp Agent - Customer Service Representative
Overview: As a Ramp Agent at Delta Air Lines, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of cargo, baggage, and mail. Responsibilities: • Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions. * Safeguard cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather. * Safely operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion. * Operate baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination. * Work varied shifts, including early morning to overnight, and up to 40 hours per week, based on operational needs and seniority.
