Key Responsibilities As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at blithequark Store, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Registering sales on assigned cash register, processing prescriptions, and handling customer transactions * Assisting pharmacists with tasks such as filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and checking for potential interactions * Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment, including restocking shelves, checking inventory, and performing other tasks as assigned * Providing support with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals * Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise * Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance, including ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance * Complying with all company policies and procedures, including those related to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program Customer Experience As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be the face of blithequark Store, and your interactions with customers will have a direct impact on their experience. You will be expected to: * Engage with customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services * Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience * Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience Operations As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for: * Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service * Recommending items for sale to customers and suggesting trade-up and/or companion items * Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash, and distributing change as requested * Processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed * Taking customers to the OTC aisle when possible to assist in locating products Training & Personal Development As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will have opportunities for growth and development, including: * Earning and maintaining PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration * Attending training and completing PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate and acquiring continuing education credits * Maintaining knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy, including the latest news and developments Basic Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must: * Be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) * Be willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours Preferred Qualifications While not required, we prefer candidates with: * Six months of experience in a retail environment * Prior work experience with blithequark * Good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications * Good computer skills * Knowledge of store inventory control * PTCB certification Equal Opportunity Employer blithequark is an equal opportunity employer, including disability/veterans.
